Happy days of Spring are coming and we all know what this means! Rose wine, naturally. At Kir we are big fans of the much maligned Rose style wines. Rose wines have great range and diversity as do all wine styles… bright berry, high mineral, herbal notes on mid palette. I could be describing any Rhone wine, right? But I am describing the beloved Rose wine. I beg you to give Rose a chance if you are not already a convert. As a prompt I offer a free glass of Rose to anyone who mentions this blog note.
Starting in April we will offer five Roses by glass (increasing to ten the following month. If you visit Kir in the summer months, 90% of imbibers will be sippng Rose and watching our fabulous sunset!). Thank you for your patronage.

Good day everyone.
I hope we are all holding up during these interesting times. Kir is doing okay, I am glad to say. We have days that are stinkers, naturally but we have days that are bustling and alive with happy noises of lovely imbibbers slurping wine, munching corona bean crostinis, laughing with friends, or smooching adoring paramours. Ah. Not a bad way for us to spend the evening!
